Kincaid Medical and Dental Centre in Wagga Wagga, NSW are seeking full-time Medical & Dental Receptionist/Skin Check Assistants to join our friendly and dedicated team. In this varied role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our medical and dental practice. You will also play a vital part in supporting our skin cancer screening services to ensure patients receive high-quality, personalised care.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice in a warm and professional manner
Booking appointments and managing the doctors schedule
Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services
Processing payments and managing patient accounts
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Assisting with the coordination of patient referrals and prescriptions
Providing general administrative support to the medical and dental team
Assisting our medical team in conducting thorough skin examinations and body mapping to detect potential skin cancers
Capturing high-quality clinical images and accurately documenting patient details and medical history
Providing exceptional customer service and putting patients at ease throughout the screening process
Maintaining meticulous records and ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date
Supporting the broader clinic operations as needed, including inventory management
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a healthcare setting role (highly desirable)
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Proficient in using medical/dental practice software and computer systems (highly desirable)
Flexibility and the ability to work well in a team-based environment
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately capture and document clinical information
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and empathetic approach to patient care
A genuine interest in skin health and a commitment to providing high-quality patient outcomes
