About the role
Join Statewide Dental Services in a rewarding leadership role where you'll help deliver high-quality oral healthcare while supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy dental clinic. As a Senior Dental Assistant, you'll coordinate clinic resources, provide expert chair-side assistance and ensure the smooth delivery of reception, sterilisation and administrative services that support exceptional patient care.
Working closely with the District Manager and dental practitioners, you'll mentor and develop dental assistants and reception staff, champion infection prevention and quality standards, and help drive continuous improvement across the clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with leadership, making a positive impact on both your team and the communities you serve.
• Coordinate daily clinic resources and workflow
• Lead, mentor and support dental assistants and reception staff
• Provide expert chair-side assistance to dental practitioners
• Champion infection control and sterilisation standards
• Oversee reception, bookings, records and client fees
• Coordinate stock, equipment and clinic resources
• Support staff training, induction and professional development
• Drive quality improvement and safe clinical practice
About You
We're looking for a collaborative and experienced dental professional who enjoys supporting others, delivering outstanding patient care and helping teams perform at their best.
• Experience providing chair-side dental assistance
• Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation
• Excellent teamwork, customer service and communication skills
• Able to prioritise workloads and solve problems effectively
