About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic experienced Dental Assistant to join our dental practice located in the east end of the Melbourne CBD. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentist and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our practice.
What you'll be doing
Assisting dentist during examinations and procedures
Preparing treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available
Welcoming patients, updating patient records, and facilitating efficient patient flow
Performing basic administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries when required
Promoting a positive and professional image of the practice by providing excellent customer service to patients
What we're looking for
Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification preferred or,
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the dentist and staff
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
Commitment to maintaining a high standard of infection control and workplace health and safety procedures
A genuine interest in the dental field and a desire to provide exceptional patient care
