Our role is also supporting people to self-manage long-term health conditions, such as diabetes and mental health challenges, with multidisciplinary teams delivering community-based programs in a comfortable setting. We also support people, including older people and people with disability, to stay living at home longer and to live well in their community. 

Our broad range of primary health services, care management and in home and community support services can be tailored to an individual’s needs and with major hubs in Box Hill and Eltham, these services can be delivered locally, in the Eastern and North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Description

The opportunity:
We are seeking a vibrant team member to join the friendly Oral Health team at healthAbility, working across our Eltham and Box Hill sites.

This dynamic position offers a blend of clinical dental assisting within our practices as well as involvement in outreach programs delivered to local schools and kindergartens within our catchment area. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, working with the community, and making a difference in children’s oral health.

There is also the potential for this role to transition to full-time in the future, which would include an Accrued Day Off (ADO) as part of the full-time entitlements.



Skills And Experiences

Our ideal candidate:

  • Confident, friendly, and enthusiastic in both clinic and community settings
  • Flexible with working hours, including Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings when required
  • Comfortable and confident driving to and from both sites and outreach locations
  • Thrive in a team-focused environment and bring a positive attitude to every interaction
