Salary:

  • OPS105 $ 55,897 (pro rata) + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits

Locations/Positions

Special Needs Unit (SNU): 

  • 2 x Full-time (option for part-time available)

Special Restorative Unit (SRU): 

  • 3 x Full-time (option for part-time available)
  • 1 x Part-time (various days) 

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit (OMFS)

  • 2 x Full-time (Monday to Friday) 

Orthodontic Unit (Ortho): 

  • 1 x Full-time (Monday to Friday) 
  • 4 x Part-time (various days)

SA Dental is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Dental Assistants – no prior experience required. You'll receive comprehensive training and be mentored by experienced dental professionals in a supportive, team-based environment.

As a Dental Assistant, you'll support Dental Practitioners with chair-side assistance, clinical admin, and client communication. SA Dental offers flexible work options, professional development, and a supportive, family-friendly environment.

You’ll gain knowledge in dental terminology, equipment, procedures, and infection control, while developing teamwork, problem-solving, and good communication skills. Empathy and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds are key to success in this role.

Essential Requirements: 

  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) 
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
