Join the Allied Health Team as a Dental Assistant delivering high-quality, patient-centred oral healthcare that meets the unique needs of individuals in custody and supports their overall wellness. This is a casual role, Monday to Friday, 2 days per week (flexible days).
In this role, you will:
Deliver high-quality, efficient, patient-centred dental care
Address custodial oral health needs to support overall wellbeing
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care
Communicate effectively with health staff, custodial teams, and external providers
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Dental Assisting (HLT35021) from a registered training organisation (RTO)
If with Certificate IV in Dental Assisting - Dental Radiography, must hold a current license with radiation authority
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
First Aid Certificate
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Cultural awareness and the ability to work with diverse populations
