About the Role
You will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist or Dental Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients. You will also assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records as well as other duties as required by the Dentist including promotion of oral health to patients and maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery.

About Amberley Health Centre
RAAF Base Amberley, the largest Air Force Base in Australia and approximately 50 minutes from Brisbane city. It provides operational and maintenance support for the precision strike element of the Air Combat Group, F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft. Supports the strategic lift capability for the Australian military’s KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT), C-17 Globemaster III heavy lift aircraft and C-27J Spartan battlefield airlifters. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to over 6500 RAAF members. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Thursday (depending on role requirements), and a half day (5.5 hours) Friday.
About You
You have a professional and friendly manner and enjoy interacting with patients and assisting the dental team with a range of support activities. Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures, you take pride in contributing to the cleanliness and effectiveness of a dental surgery environment and assisting your team wherever possible. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do. You are passionate about providing dental support services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.
