Provide clinical assistance to the dentist and ensure a comfortable environment for patients and team members
Comply with HCF Dental Quality Management System, policies, and procedures
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment
Support the Practice Manager and Dentist in Charge by fostering teamwork and smooth centre operations
Patient Flow: Monitor day sheets, coordinate patient appointments, and assist with emergency patients
Chair Side Assisting: Prepare instruments and materials, assist during clinical procedures, and develop radiographs
Surgery Organisation: Uphold infection control, manage surgery changeovers, and maintain stock and equipment
Sterile Supply: Clean and sterilise instruments, validate sterilisation cycles, and maintain stock levels
Work Health & Safety: Comply with WHS standards, report hazards, and participate in safety training
Demonstrated dental knowledge and experience
Neat appearance and commitment to personal hygiene
Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
Demonstrated initiative and common sense
Basic computer literacy
Reception experience or willingness to cross-train
Qualifications in radiography, sterilising, and/or first aid
Certificate III in Dental Assisting
